What is Spin the Rooster?
Our Spin the Rooster promotion is where you can click on an online spinner to be in with a chance of winning one of over 5,000 prizes if you buy any Trend product within the promotional period.
What prizes can I win?
Each spin will land on a segment of the Rooster wheel, and you could receive one of the following prizes (terms and conditions apply and can be viewed here)

Who can spin?
The promotion is open to trade customers registered with Howdens who are permanent residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years and above who have purchased any Stanley, Irwin or DeWalt product between Monday 7th August 2023 and Saturday 2nd September 2023 at participating Howdens depots. Please note the promotion excludes depots located in Republic of Ireland and Isle of Man.
How long is this promotion on for?
The Spin the Rooster promotion is available for purchases made between Monday 7th August 2023 and Saturday 2nd September 2023. Spins can be claimed until the 9th of September 2023 or until the total number of prizes has been won, whichever comes first.
Can I play and spin multiple times?
You will be allowed one spin per day email address and once per invoice number if you have purchased any qualifying product.
Do I need to be a certain age?
Entrants must be 18 or over to play Spin the Rooster and be a Howdens trade account holder.
What happens after I spin?
Once you have spun, the website will advise which prize you have won (pending validation). Please note validation can take up to 72 hours. Reasons for prizes not being validated include entering an incorrect invoice number and not purchasing a Trend product. You will receive an email within 72 hours of spinning notifying you of the result and what action to take next.
I didn’t receive the prize email – what do I do?
Please contact us using the form below and we’ll investigate this for you. Please make sure the person who entered is contacting us as we won’t be able to send a prize email to anyone other than the intended winner.
I received an email saying my spin has been rejected, why?
If your spin has not been validated this may be due to entering an incorrect invoice number or not purchasing a Stanley, Irwin or DeWalt product. As your spin has been invalidated, your prize has been added back into the prize pot. If the above conditions do not apply, come back tomorrow and spin again for a chance to win.
What if I have a query on my account?

What if I have any questions or issues with the promotion?

I have won a Trend Kitchen Fitting Kit, Trend Door Hanging Kit or Trend T12 Router & Jig Lock, and it is asking me to go into my local depot, why?
The product will be sent to the depot where you made your qualifying purchase for you to collect. The depot will be in touch once the prize has arrived.
I have won a Greggs E-Code, how do I claim it?
If your entry has been validated, you will receive an email within 72 hours of spinning which will include a link to reveal your code. To redeem your Greggs e-code, you will need to quote it at the checkout. If your entry is not validated, you will receive an email notification.
I have won a Costa Coffee E-Code but received a Greggs E-Code, what should I do?
As per the Terms and Conditions, residents of Northern Ireland that win a Costa Coffee voucher will be substituted with a Greggs voucher due to availability. If you are not a resident of Northern Ireland, please use the contact us form on this page.
I have won £20 Howdens Credit; how do I claim it?
If your entry has been validated, you will receive an email within 72 hours of spinning which will include information regarding your gift. Your £20 Howdens Credit will appear in your Credit account associated with the qualifying purchase within 7 days following your validation date.
I have received an email asking me to enter my delivery details, why?
If you have won a prize that isn’t digital or requires collection from a depot, you will need to enter your delivery details online so that we can post your prize. Click on the link in the email you have received to enter your details.
